DC Here We Come...

We were soooo excited to be able to spend a week with our good friends the Chisms. They live in Virginia, about 30 min outside of Washington DC. So on Sunday we packed up from Philadelphia and headed to VA.



We were so enthralled with catching up and the sheer fact of managing 12 people that we had a complete photographic FAIL. :( So I scraped and gathered these photos of our incredible friends so we can have memory of them and our epic time together! :D

Our first day was a little low key as we slept in and took a breather. We had decided to reserve a rental car to use to go in and out of DC with. Although the driver is good, taking the tin can in and throughout the city, didn't seem like the wisest decision - mentally or physically. lol We picked up our rental car and then headed to a nearby air & space museum that was outside of DC, The Udvar-Hazy Center. This is clearly the epitome of boy entertainment! It was a hot and humid day so we were glad to be indoors. Plus everyone was in awe and wonder at all the planes and space ship they got to see up close! It was a great start to our DC tour...

I was also glad to be indoors, but more so, just glad we went home with everyone we came with. I mean, it’s great to do these things but sometimes just wrangling everyone successfully is the biggest accomplishment for the day! lol ;)

And although she got drug throughout the museum she still had a great attitude when we left and even smiled for the camera (a rarity!).
