I can't believe it you guys! I can't believe we are here again.... road tripping AND blogging! lol ;) It's all your fault - yes you! I'm not quite sure why you guys want to follow along, either you know our plan never goes according to plan, with a few antics thrown in for extra measure or you want to make sure and never follow in our footsteps. At any rate, get ready, hold on and settle in for some good laughs! {cause that's what it takes for ALL of us to make it through a road trip like this and a whole lotta Jesus!}
If you haven't followed along before and this is your first time.... WELCOME! We're so glad to have you 'ride along' for our crazy journey number 3. Here's a little history so you are all caught up and can jump right in...
{2014} somehow I convinced the Mr (soon to become chauffeur) that we should take our whole family and travel halfway across the country to Dallas, Texas where we had a work convention to attend. And not only that, but we should rent a motorhome AND take my MOM!!!! lol :P Can you believe we're still married? I should add that at the time our kids were 14 months, 2 1/2, 8, and 12 years old. His original plan was to fly down with a friend, BY HIMSELF {gasp}, attend the convention and then come home. Little did he know, our first adventure with 7 people, over 7 states for 17 days would hook us! As in, we LOVED road tripping!
{2015} and somehow I convinced him AGAIN! What a good guy he is! <3 This time we upped the anty a bit and decided to go all the way to Pennsylvania for my nephew's high school graduation. Grandma & grandpa were meeting us there for the graduation so she successfully avoided being drug along this time but instead we brought home my dear niece when we left Pennsylvania. She was 15 at the time and thus the oldest in our family AND a girl! That always ends up with interesting family dynamics. lol ;) But she fits in just like she's one of us, puts up with all our family shenanigans and we love her to pieces. So this time it was 6 weeks with 7 people on the return trip and too many states to count - well more than I'm willing to figure out right now. ;)
{2017} thus here we be again! You are welcome to go back and read the previous years posts and hear about everything from little ones puking on the road, clogged toilets, Walmart stays (NOT my fav), our amazing chauffeur, being locked out of the KOA in a thunder & lightning storm, a 74 year olds texting addiction, deer-hitting, deer 'repellent,' 5 minute dates, incredible sights and beloved family & friends, not to mention 'fake' Starbucks. There's oh so much more but let me tell you, it will either endear you to road tripping or swear you off it as long as you live. Just remember that disclaimer before you go showing your family. ;) But as you can tell, we still kinda like it...
So here goes nothing!
Just remember.... it's all ⭆ YOUR ⭅ fault! lol :p

Oh so glad you are blogging again. Chris just asked this morning if we had seen any updates! ;0)
